No vamos a bajar la cabeza por ningun motivo, somos un pais que se nos ha dado la espalda por engaños publicados por los “justos”. No vamos a bajar la cabeza porque NO PODEMOS!!! Vamos a sacar adelante a Honduras, y vamos resurgir en estas organizaciones mas fuerte, mas valiente… una potencia. Pasar de ser “the banana republic” al pais que sobrevivio el repudio internacional.

I’m proud of what my countrymen have done this morning at the peaceful protest this morning in San Pedro Sula. I am ashamed that I couldn’t attend. It was a beautiful message that was sent to the international community, and I hope it was well received. Never the less, we can’t conform with this… we can do a whole lot more! In Tegucigalpa there will be another demonstration tomorrow, with a goal of attendance that will be very impressive… and the goal WILL be met. Our message will be heard!!!

The world may be open to see everything from our perspective… but there are others still blinded by outsiders. We still have to be heard… we have to make every peaceful protest bigger and bigger and bigger!!!

Even after abuses by Zelaya’s supporter, peaceful manifestations stood tall!

It all started when the ex president Zelaya order a referendum to put a fourth ballot on election day in November to have a constituent assembly. This referendum was deemed illegal by the attorney general, national congress and the supreme court. On Wednesday, June 24^th, Zelaya fired his military chief of staff, general Romeo Vasquez because he refused to go along with and order handed down to him by Zelaya to accompany and support the illegal referendum.

The very next day, Zelaya had published in the official gazette that the referendum was no longer for a fourth ballot, but for the constituent assembly. In order for the public be unaware of this publication, he digressed the people’s attention to the ballots flown in by southern American countries leader. Ballots which were seized earlier that day by the attorney general. By doing this, he actually managed to round up followers of his movement.

Calm returned to the streets of Honduras, until Saturday, the day before the controversial referendum was to take place. Zelaya  was being warned of the illegality of his actions. To these allegations he responded with these words, “Not even God himself can stop this referendum!” Due to these words, congress and the military were forced to take action.

Sunday morning, Manuel Zelaya Rosales is sent to Costa Rica by the military and signed a letter of resignation. Under the orders of the court, congress then named a new president and was sworn in for the duration of this presidential term, promising that on November 29, we will have our election day.

Today, June 29, the rest of the cabinet was named and sworn in, cabinet that will accompany the new president for the remaining 6 months. I cannot go without mentioning that Zelaya, once in Costa Rica, got in touch with his equivalent from the ALBA movement to act against the new appointed government.

Since then, the world has only seen and hear Zelaya’s point of view, due to the campaign run by Venezuelan TV station, TeleSUR. Giving an impression of a lack of democracy and totalitarianism by a certain group of wealthy people.

Supported by other countrymen, I have started this blog to be heard. We want the chance to fix OUR problems because wrongly elected a president and wish to amend our mistakes.

Zelaya broke constitutional order by trying to leave the judicial and legislative branches our government out of the picture. He has broken the law in numerous occasions. He has said publicly that hasn’t done anything wrong… I urge you to please study our situation before you judge us. We are a small country, we don’t have the resources that Venezuela might have… but we are a proud country and we are capable of identifying when somebody is doing wrong and wrongly representing our interests.

I not only ask that the international community please give us to explain our actions, also ask of general Hugo Rafael Chavez Frias and the rest of the ALBA members not to intrude in our country. We are not going lay quietly while you infringe on our sovereignty.  Your retrograde way of thinking is not welcome here. And if Zelaya supports that way of thing, than he is no longer welcome either.

Zelaya comenzó con  hacer una consulta popular con el fin de instalar una cuarta urna en las elecciones de noviembre de este año para hacer una asamblea nacional constituyente. Consulta que fue nombrada ilegal por el ministerio público, congreso nacional y corte suprema. El día miércoles 24 de junio el ex-presidente Zelaya destituyo al jefe de estado mayor,  Gral. Romeo Vásquez, porque este ultimo no acato la orden que el presidente le había girado con el objeto de que las FFAA apoyaran la consulta ilegal.

Al siguiente día, Zelaya publico en diario oficial que la consulta ya no era para instalar la cuarta urna… cambio las reglas a última hora, la consulta ahora era para hacer la asamblea nacional constituyente. Para lograr que el público no se haga conocer de esta publicación, defirió la atención a las urnas de la consulta, enviadas por él un líder metido de un país sudamericano, que estaban siendo decomisadas por el ministerio publico. A la vez, logrando crear un grupo protestante a favor de su movimiento.

Pasaron un par de días de calma hasta el sábado, día antes de la controversial consulta. Se le estuvo advirtiendo a Zelaya no proceder con la consulta debido a su fin ilegal. Pero él contestó con la siguiente frase, “¡ESTA CONSULTA NI DIOS LA DETIENE!” Debido a estas últimas palabras publicas del ex presidente, forzó al congreso nacional y las FFAA a tomar acción en contra del pasado mandatario.

La madrugada del día domingo, Manuel Zelaya Rosales fue montado a un avión enviado a Costa Rica por militares y firmo un acta de renuncia a su puesto como presidente de Honduras. Y el congreso nacional luego siguió a nombrar un nuevo presidente y juramentarlo por el tiempo faltante de este periodo presidencial; prometiendo que el día domingo 29 de noviembre se llevaran a cabo las  elecciones generales en Honduras.

Hoy, lunes 29 de junio, se termino de nombrar y juramentar el resto del gabinete que terminara este periodo presidencial. Pero no puedo dejar de mencionar que desde que Zelaya llego a Costa Rica, se ha reunido con sus homólogos de los líderes del movimiento ALBA para tomar acción contra el nuevo gobierno.

Debido a este ultimo suceso, el mundo solo ha podido ver el punto de vista de Zelaya aumentado a lo extremo izquierda y pintándolo de una falta de democracia y totalitarismo de parte de la gente en poder de Honduras.

Yo, apoyado por un grupo de compatriotas, estamos montando este blog con la esperanza que vea el otro lado de la moneda. Es hora que nos dejen arreglar NUESTROS problemas porque somos nosotros quien elegimos equívocamente y queremos corregir nuestros errores.

Zelaya ha roto el orden constitucional intentando quitar poder a los poderes judicial y legislativo. Y ha violentado la ley en numerosas veces. Ha dicho públicamente en un escenario internacional que no ha hecho nada, ruego que se informen antes de juzgarnos. Somos un país pequeño… no tenemos los mismo recursos de países como Venezuela… pero si tenemos el orgullo y la capacidad analítica para saber cuando alguien no esta haciendo las cosas bien y no nos representa lo que en verdad queremos.

No solo pidiendo tiempo a la comunidad internacional para que nos entiendan, al Gral. Hugo Rafael Chávez Frias y el resto del ALBA, que sepan que no vamos aguantar que el venga a este país a imponer su ley sobre nuestra soberanía. Su mentalidad retrograda NO ESTA BIENVENIDA EN HONDURAS. Y si Manuel Zelaya está con ustedes, pues tampoco estara bienvenido.
